Our Story
Born from Frustration. Brewed with Purpose.
Rye and Coopers Brewing Company was created by our founder, after years of working in the hospitality industry — and even longer sitting through meetings that led nowhere. Tired of bland pitches and soulless products, he decided it was time to stop nodding along and start crafting something of his own.
What started as a bold decision turned into a full-on mission: to create a beer brand with fire, flavour, and a fresh take on tradition. With Rye and Coopers, we blend a new-age style with classic brewing and distilling techniques — throwing out the rulebook and pouring in real passion.
Our Commitment To Sustainability
At Rye and Coopers, sustainability isn’t just a word – like our beers were building for a bigger and better future.
From the grain to the glass we’re committed to brewing great beer with a lighter footprint and stronger community impact.
Our ingredients are sourced less than 20km from the Brewery.
All spent grain gets fed to the local dairy herd.
Any left over water and raw materials are also spread across the local farm along with using solar panels to help reduce our carbon footprint.
We understand sustainability is a journey, not a destination. We’re constantly exploring new ways to brew smarter, waste less and give back more.
